Fried Biscuit Donuts

Verdict: Win

This is Kristen's absolute favorite Chinese buffet dessert, and it's a piece of cake to make.



Fried Biscuit Donuts
Yield: about 8-12 biscuits, depending on the brand

INGREDIENTS
1 can regular buttermilk biscuits
oil
sugar

DIRECTIONS
Fill up a large pan, pot, or wok with enough oil that the biscuits will be able to float. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. When hot, test the temperature by placing 1 biscuit in the oil and cooking each side until light brown. Adjust temperature as necessary before cooking the rest of the batch of biscuits.

Roll/coat cooked biscuits in sugar. Eat!
